MotoGP Confirms Plans to Proceed with Qatar Grand Prix Amid Middle East Conflict

MotoGP chief Carmelo Ezpeleta has stated that the plan remains to hold the Qatar Grand Prix as scheduled on 8 November.

This comes amid ongoing conflict in the Middle East, which has already disrupted several motorsport events in the region.

Notably, the Formula 1 race in Saudi Arabia was cancelled, and the Bahrain Grand Prix was relocated to Malaysia.

While uncertainty has surrounded Middle Eastern motorsport events this year, Ezpeleta’s comments suggest MotoGP is committed to maintaining its calendar.
