Red Bull Shareholders Thank Christian Horner After Maiden F1 Win with Ford Powertrains Engine
Christian Horner received a call from Red Bull shareholders following the first Formula 1 victory powered by the Red Bull Ford Powertrains engine in Malaysia.
Christian Horner has disclosed that Red Bull shareholders personally reached out to him after the Red Bull Ford Powertrains engine secured its maiden Formula 1 win at the Malaysian Grand Prix.
Horner, who became team principal when Red Bull acquired the Jaguar team ahead of the 2005 season, played a pivotal role in the team's development over two decades.
Despite his departure in July 2025, when Laurent Mekies replaced him, Horner's influence on the team’s engineering and competitive progress remains significant.
