Leclerc Dominates Friday Practice at Mexico GP, Outpacing McLaren and Mercedes

Charles Leclerc delivered a flawless performance on Friday at the Mexico Grand Prix, leading both practice sessions at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. He clocked a 1m18.128s in FP1 before improving to a 1m17.827s in FP2, securing the top spot.

McLaren's Lando Norris closely followed, finishing second in FP2, while Mercedes drivers trailed behind. Leclerc's pace underscores Ferrari's strong form heading into the weekend.

Despite the team's success, Ferrari faced a setback as Lewis Hamilton retired from the session. Leclerc's dominance, however, remains the headline of the day, setting a high benchmark for the rest of the field.
