Laurent Mekies will continue at the helm of Red Bull Racing, having extended his contract through the 2031 Formula 1 season.

The Frenchman is set to lead the team for at least six years, beginning his tenure in July 2025.

Mekies succeeds Christian Horner, who concluded a remarkable 20-year leadership spell with the team.

Prior to this appointment, Mekies was part of Red Bull’s sister team, Racing Bulls, bringing valuable experience to the top role.

This extension signals Red Bull’s commitment to stability and long-term strategic planning as they aim to maintain their competitive edge in Formula 1.
